Hello dolls,
I hope you are all having an amazing week! I have been involved in quite a number of wedding projects and have decided to post on a couple of them and on subsequent ones. This post features a coral and gold dress made for the bridesmaids. The official wedding colours were burnt orange and champagne; we selected colours in the same family but with different hues for the bridal train.
I made a boob tube floor length dress from a stretchy silk-satin. The stretchy fabric is form fitting and clings like a second skin. It's bodice is covered with guipure lace, has a high neck in front and a cut out behind. The rest of the dress flows mermaid style with one piece in front and three pieces at the back giving it a slight tail at the hem. There's a tie-sash at the waist that provides extra detail to the style. The dress is accessorized with a gold brooch on the sash to provide that little bit of bling.
The bride and bridesmaids loved the dress. Happy clients make for a happy designer *:)
